SPRINGER, Roy - Peacefully, passed away, following a brief illness, on Sunday, March 18, 2001, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Roy Springer, in his 55th year of Waterloo and formerly of Elmira. Beloved husband of Diane (Bolender) Springer; loving father of Tracy and Chris, both at home; devoted grandfather of Brianna; brother of Eleanor, Gladys, Bert, Cliff, Elsie, Rose, Bill, Ben, Pat, Gord and Rob; brother-in-law of Wendy, Brenda, Lisa and Dave. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews; son-in-law of Ruby and Don Hebden. Predeceased by his parents, Jay and Beatrice Springer and father-in-law, Cec Bolender. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira (today) Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where funeral services will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1: 30 pm, with Rev. Dr. Linda J. Bell officiating followed by cremation.
