William Pullon

PRESTON, April 8. Illness of three months duration, culminated in the death, during the night at his residence, 720 Hamilton St., of William Fred Pullon, at the age of 80 years. A resident of Preston, for the past year, Mr. Pullon came here from Galt, where he had previously resided. Born in England, he came to Canada, 36 years ago. A lacemaker by trade, he at one time conducted his own business in England, but had lived retired for the past 10 years. He was an adherent of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Agnes Jane Pelz; a son, Fred Pullon, of Hamilton; a sister, Miss Elizabeth Pullon of Nottingham, England; a brother, George Pullon of St. Vital, Man.; six stepchildren, William J. Pelz and Edward Pelz of Preston, Reuben Pelz of Galt, Miss Victoria Pelz of Preston, Mrs. Alex Yates, Galt and Mrs. Godfrey Hughes of London. A grandson and 12 step-grandchildren also survive. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home, where the funeral wil take place, Saturday, at 3: 30. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
