    CUTTING, GORDON HENRY

    Funeral for Mr. Cutting was held on Saturday at 2 at Nelson's Funeral Home in Cambridge. Mr. Cutting, in his 88th year, of R. R. #2, Cambridge, died on Wednesday, October 20, 1982, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Mr. Cutting was born in Puslinch Township. He was a former employee of Domtar Chemicals. He served with the 111th Battalion in the First World War and was a member of the 111th Battalion Association and Branch 272 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Predeceased by his wife, Vera Schmidt. Survived by sons, Arthur and Donald of Cambridge; a daughter, Audrey Baverstock of Cambridge; brothers, Clarence and Melvin of Cambridge; Walter of Port Elgin; sisters, Mrs. Gladys MacGregor, Mrs. Lottie Johnson and Mrs. Olive Garside, all of Cambridge; twelve grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. A memorial service was conducted by Branch 272 of the Royal Canadian Legion at 7 p. m. on Friday. Interment New Hope Cemetery.

    Gordon married Vera Elizabeth Schmidt 26 Oct 1922, Hespeler (Cambridge), Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada. Vera (daughter of Frederick John Schmidt and Caroline "Carrie" Gillow) was born 24 Sep 1900, Milverton, Mornington Twp., Perth Co., Ontario; died 18 May 1979; was buried , New Hope Cemetery, Hespeler (Cambridge), Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.     CUTTING, ROBERT GORDON "BOBBIE"

    6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Cutting of Glen Christie, on Saturday night, September 2, 1933. Bobbie was born in this district and passed away after a comparatively short illness. Surviving are his parents and a brother and sister. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 5 from the Glen Christie Church to the Hespeler Cemetery, with Rev. W. H. Knauff of Preston conducting the service.
