    Of 1662 Fairview Rd., Cambridge, Saturday December 16, 1989 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Mary Bodrucky and dear father of Edward and his wife Anne of Moorefield also survived by one grandson Jacob, one sister Olga, Mrs. Walter Lewyckyj of Cambridge, one step-brother John and a step-sister Betty in Ukraine, a nephew and his wife James and Elaine Lewyckyj. Mr. Balaban was born in the Ukraine and came to Cambridge in 1935. Retired of Babcock Wilcox of Cambridge. A member of St. Mary’s Ukranian Catholic Church, Cambridge. Veteran of The Second World War, serving in the Essex Scotish[sic] Regiment overseas. Member of the Galt Canadian Legion Branch #121. Friends will be received at The Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., today Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Ukranian Catholic Church, Eagle St., Tuesday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment in St. Clement’s Cemetery. Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home tonight Monday at 7: 00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be under the Auspices of the Galt Royal Canadian Legion tonight Monday at 8: 30 p.m.
