    Of 1603 King St. E., Cambridge (Preston), formerly of Kitchener, on Friday, June 13, 1975, at St. Mary's Hospital, after a lengthy illness, 58 years of age; a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Polish Legion, Branch 412. While a resident of Kitchener, she had attended Sacred Heart RC Church. The former Johanna Sowa, wife of Stanislaus Murawski; mother of Clara (Mrs. James Gingerich) and Stanley, both of Kitchener and Roger of Cambridge (Preston); sister of Agnes, (Mrs. Frank Hagey), Sophie (Mrs. Stanley Harnack) and Joseph Sowa, all of Cambridge (Hespeler) and Stanley Sowa of Kitchener. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Caroline and John Sowa. Resting at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, Benton and Church Streets, after 7 p.m. this evening, where parish prayers will be recited, on Sunday, at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said on Monday, at 10: 30 a.m., followed by 11 o'clock funeral mass, at Sacred Heart RC Church; Rev. Edwin R. Lapinski, CR, officiating; interment, Preston cemetery.

    On Friday, May 25, 2007, at Guelph General Hospital, in her 89th year. Wife of the late Stanley Harnack (1977). Mother of Murray Harnack (Nina); Cecilia Broderick (Ron); Leonard Harnack (Andrea); Marianne Sloane (Thomas); Janice Breckenridge (Cal); Carol Harnack (Amos); Norman Harnack (Lydia); Mary-Jane Harnack; Ron Harnack (Lyne); Helen Harnack; David Harnack (Donna); and the late Joseph. Grandmother of Jason, Jennifer, Rochelle, Jeff, Lisa, Simon, Michelle, Renee, Liane, Thaidra, Suzanne, Katherine, Caroline, Michael, Derek, Alyssa, Jasmine, Karen, Joshua, Adam, Olivia, Wolfgang and Hope. Greatgrandmother of sixteen. Predeceased by her parents, Caroline and John Sowa and siblings, Johanna Murawski, Stanley and Joseph Sowa and Agnes Hagey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law, Irene Bitschy, Vera Schnurr, Mabel Harnack and Mary Sowa. Sophie was very devoted to her Catholic faith and to her family. She married Stan in 1941 and together they raised their family on a farm known as the "Garden of Puslinch" Funeral mass was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 16 Cooper St. in (Hespeler) Cambridge on Sat., June 2 at 11, with interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery.

    On Monday evening. Oct. 4. 1993. at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Agnes Hagey, of RR 22, Cambridge, in her 66th year. Beloved wife of Frank and dear mother of Bruce and his wife Nancy, Brian and his wife Jan of Cambridge and Barb of RR 22, Cambridge. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Sophie Harnack and her four grandchildren, Paul, Daryl, Steven and Brandon. Agnes was predeceased by her parents, John and Caroline (Shoemaker) Sowa and her brothers, Stan and Joe and her sister. Mrs. Johanna Murawski. Resting at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Wednesday evening, Oct. 6, 1993 (this evening) from 7-9 p.m. and then again on Thursday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday morning, Oct. 8. 1993, at St. Mary of the Visitation RC Church, Cambridge at 10 a.m. Vigil" prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. The rite of committal will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge.

    Infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Harnack of R. R. #2, Hespeler, on Monday, September 2, 1957, at South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. Survived by three brothers and five sisters, Murray, Leonard, Norman, Cecilia, Mary Ann, Janice, Carol, Mary Jane; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harnack of Shantz Station and John Sowa of Kitchener. The funeral was held on Tuesday at 10 from the Maurice J. O'Brien Funeral Home in Preston. Rev. D. D. Simpson read the committal prayers at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery at Hespeler.
