KNIGHT, Robert Douglas.

Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 3, 2016, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Joan Knight (nee Fach). Dear father of Jim Knight (Jenny) of Lawrence, Kansas and Frank Knight (Sharon) of Brantford. Cherished grandfather of Geoff, Cameron, David, Emily, Ben and Luke and Reg and Annie and 7 great grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Margaret Penchuk, Donald Knight (Mary), Gladys McMahon, Alan Knight (Vicki) and Kelly Taylor and by many nieces and nephews.

Doug was a longtime farmer in the Sheffield area, played hockey and baseball and was a sports fan. He operated a battery business for several years later in life.

Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, January, 6, 2016 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11am. In memory of Doug, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
