    At her residence, 216 Hamilton St., Preston, on Sunday, Oct. 29, 1972, Alexandra Olszowy, beloved wife of the late Karol Wojcik and dear mother of William, Detroit: Edward of Preston, Helen (Mrs. Stanley Kwasniewski) Jen (Mrs. Martin Lisiecki) Louise (Mrs. John Kubinski) all of Detroit, Mrs. Charlotte Hushley of Preston, in her 92nd year: also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wojcik was born in Poland and lived in Preston, for 60 years, member of St. Clement's Church. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner of Queen and Argyle Sts., Preston, until Wednesday morning, then to St. Clement's Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Clement's cemetery.

    WOJCIK, Edward John

    Passed away peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, Nov. 5, 1999, in his 79th year. Beloved brother of Charlotte Hushley of Cambridge and Jean Liscki of Michigan. He will be especially missed by his nieces, Debbie, Brenda and her husband Frank, Diane and her son Jeff. Also his godchild, Carl and many nieces and nephews in Michigan. Survived by his sister-in-law, Laura and brother-in-law, Johnny. Predeceased by his parents, Karol and Alexandria Wojcik; brother, William; sisters, Helen and Louise; best friends and brothers-in-law, Peter, Smitty and Steve and two special canine friends, Patches and Toby. Edward was born on September 1, 1921 in Preston and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of St. Clement's RC Church; a former member of the Preston Legion Band and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Preston Branch 126. He was a Veteran of the Second World War and was retired from Clare Brothers. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Qucenston Road, Cambridge this evening (Saturday) from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St., cambridge on Monday, Nov. 8, 1999 at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Clement's Cemetery, Cambridge.

    HUSHLEY, Charlotte

    Of Golden Years Retirement Lodge, Cambridge, on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 85th year. Charlotte Wojcik, beloved wife of the late Peter Hushley (1968). Dear mother, of Diane Hushley of Toronto, Brenda Hushley (Frank deVries) of Aurora, and Debbie (John) Marshall of Markham. Lovingly remembered by grandson, Jeffrey Hushley of Pacifica, CA and step-grandsons, Christopher Marshall of New Brunswick and Jonathan Marshall of Australia. Sadly missed by her dog, Muffin. Predeceased by her parents, Karol and Alexandria Wojcik; one daughter, Linda, in infancy and brothers and sisters, Helen, Jean, Louise, Bill and Ed. Mrs. Hushley was born in Preston and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of St. Clement's R.C. Church, the C.W.L., the Women's Bowling League and was a P.S.W. with the Red Cross. Very special gratitude for mom's excellent care is extended to her Personal Support Workers, Aracely Johnston and Ann-Marie McIntyre and to the staff of Golden Years Retirement Lodge. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Clement's Cemetery, Cambridge. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Friday at 3: 45 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Clement's R.C. Church Fund would be appreciated by the family.
