Elmira - Walter P. Mickus. 64, of RR 3, Elmira died suddenly Monday at the K-W Hospital.

Born in Pilkington Township Nov. 8, 1891 he was as a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Mickus. Mr. Mickus lived on the farm all his life He was the last surviving member of the family. He attended St. James' Lutheran Church, Elmira.

His wife the former Catherine Stahlbaum, survives.

The body will be at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor. Elmira. until Thursday at 1 p.m. when removal will be made to St James's Church for the funeral Thursday at 3 p.m. Burial will be in St. James' Church with Rev. H. W. Baetz officiating. Friends are requested to pay their respects prior to the service,
