    HABERMEHL, Luella Mae (nee) Witmer

    Peacefully, on Saturday, Aug. 20, 1994, at Cambridge Country Manor, Luella Habermehl, formerly of Kitchener, in her 86th year. Mrs. Habermehl was a member of the Evangelical Missionary Church, Breslau. Beloved wife of Ephraim S. Habermehl; loving mother of Levern of Montreal, Que.; sister-in-law of Salome Habermehl and Ruby Habermehl, both of Kitchener. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Habermehl was the last surviving member of her family. Predeceased by her parents, the late Abram and Matilda (nee Strickler) Witmer; her brothers, Herbert, Levern, Charles and Ernie and her sisters, Pearl Brutski and Olive Caldwell. A funeral service was held today (Monday) at Evangelical Missionary Church, Breslau. Rev. Randall Rehkopf and Rev. Dan Nickless officiated. Interment was held in Wanner Mennonite Cemetery, Beaverdale.

    SUGG, Marion (nee Brutzki) Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre on Sunday, February 2, 2014 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Vincent Sugg on October 26, 2001. Beloved mother of Terry and his wife Brenda of Lions Head, Trudy Anderson and her husband Stephen of Waterloo, Randy of Crosshill and friend Janice of Wellesley, Mark and his wife Wendy of Kitchener, Cathy Knechtel and her husband Wayne of Bloomingdale, and Tim and his wife Donna of Waterloo. Sadly missed by her loving grandchildren, Gary, Bradley and wife Dianne, Pamela and husband Clare, Becky and husband Matt, Julie, Ceilidh, Melissa and partner Kyle, Andrew and wife Elizabeth, and Joshua and friend Sylvia; great-grandchildren, Jamie, Anna, Vincent, Joseph, Samuel, Mark, Nicholas, Crystal and Keesha. Lovingly remembered by her brother, Ernie Brutzki and his wife Betty. Predeceased by her grandson, Matthew; parents, Clayton and Pearl (nee Witmer) Brutzki; and brothers, Calvin, Harold, and Russell (Chip). Marion will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Marion's family wishes to thank the staff of Watson House at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre for their loving and compassionate care. Marion's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, February 6 from 2 -4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 10: 30 a.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. A private family committal service will follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
