    BECKER, Henrietta Violet - Passed away at Saint Luke's Place, Cambridge, on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at the age of 87. Henrietta was predeceased by her husband, Roy (January 1992); daughter, Sylvia MacPherson (September 2000) and son, Paul (June 2007). She is also predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Jessie Fischer; brothers, Oscar, Harold, Harvey and sisters, Josephine, Ceceila, Evelyn and Carol. Survived by two sisters, Mary Merner, Audrey Schlieman (Jack); daughters, Margaret Gervais, Sandra Heron (Grant), Shirley Reist (Jim) and daughter-in-law, Lynn Becker. Dear grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Henrietta's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 11, 2008, at 11 a.m. In Henrietta's memory, expressions of sympathy made to Saint Luke's Place Foundation or the charity of choice would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Saint Luke's Place for their loving care of Henrietta.

    MARY AGNES MERNER (nee Fischer) 1926 \endash 2010 Mary passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Forest Heights Long-Term Care Centre on Thursday, February 4, 2010, in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Merner in 1968; her son, Patrick in 1964; and her daughter, Beverly Ermel in 2002. Mary is survived by her sister, Audrey (Jack) Schlieman. Loving mother of Karen (James) Schnarr, Kimberly Greenaway, Robert (Diane) Merner, and Robin (Fred) Walker; grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of 12; and great-great-grandmother of one. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Mary during a memorial visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m. The memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m., Saturday. Family and friends are invited to the interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener followed by a reception at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or a charity of choice by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
