Kaiser, Mrs. Ida M. - On Wednesday, March 22, 1989, at Winston Hall Nursing Home, the former Ida May Groff, age 87 years. Survived by her daughter, Barbara and her husband James Heldmann; grandsons, Stephen and Mark, all of Waterloo; three sisters, Louise (Mrs. David Jantzi) of Kitchener, Elsie (Mrs. Omar Snider) of New Hamburg and Eva Groff of Binghamton, N.Y.; sister of Moses Groff of Kitchener and step-mother of Howard Kaiser of Salem, Ill. She was born in Wilmot Township, a daughter of the late Andrew Groff and the former Lydia Wilhelm. Widow of Albert William Kaiser. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Waterloo. The family will receive friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, 7-9 pm this evening (Thursday), and 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday and until service time on Saturday, where the funeral and committal service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11 am, with Rev. Clayton Wilhelm officiating. Interment will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.
