Loving mother and mother-in-law of Orvil and Mary Hasenpflug of Mannheim, Esther Temple and Herb Glemser of Kitchener, Laurel and Menno Martin of Chepstow and Catherine Hasenpflug of Kitchener, Charles and Lillian Sittler of Kitchener, Joy and Mahlon Snyder, Clementine and Elmer Hill, all of St. Jacobs, Annie Sittler of Winnipeg, Ruby and Allan Madgett of Halifax, Joan and Don Blum of Kitchener, Doris Sittler of St. Jacobs and Meryl Sittler of Winnipeg. Fondly remembered by her 20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 36 step-grandchildren and 51 step-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Sylvia Jackson, Laurie and John Kenney of Woodstock; sister-in-law of Mary Cayley of Norwich, Eva Totzke of Simcoe and Ruby Sittler of St. Jacobs. Also fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret Cayley; her first husband, Edward Hasenpflug (1966); her second husband, Jacob Sittler (1993); one son, Edward Hasenpflug (1996); one brother, Walter Cayley and three sisters, Lydia Maltby, Charlotte Powell and Tillie Carriere. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. On Wednesday at 9 am, transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs for funeral service at 11 am, with Rev. Frank Haggarty officiating followed by interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.

    HASENPFLUG, Orvil George On Monday, March 7, 2011 at St. Mary's General Hospital, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee: Korell) of 57 years. Loving father of Lynn Perrin and her husband Gord, William Hasenpflug and his wife Debbie, Robert Hasenpflug, Gwen Troutner and her husband Don and Karen Deutscher and her husband Alan. Proud grandfather of fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grand-children. Sadly missed by sisters Esther Temple and Laurel Martin and her husband Menno and sister-in-law Cathy Hasenpflug. Lovingly remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Edward Hasenpflug. He was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church; Mannheim since 1964. Orvil was a Charter member of the Optimist Club in Mannheim and a longtime member in New Dundee. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.     TEMPLE, Esther Margaret Passed away at Golden Years Nursing Home on January 28, 2014 at the age of 81. Esther is survived by her friend, Herbert Glemser, her children Donald Temple, Dave and Nori Temple, Larry and Doris Temple, Lori Cramer, Paul Temple, Vicki and Ben Gallo. Proud grand- mother of Richard, Sherry, Lana, Justin, Jonathan, Jennifer, Alexia, Dana, Yvonne, Crystal, Quintan, and Reilly and great-grandmother of 6.     He was predeceased by his father, Wm. Edward Hasenpflug in 1966; step- father, Jacob Sittler in 1993; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Peter and MaryAnn Zehr; brothers-in-law, Harley, Horace and Woody Zehr.

    HASENPFLUG, Robert George 1957 - 2013 After a courageous battle with leukemia, Bob passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, age 55. Beloved son of Mary (nee Korell) and the late Orvil Hasenpflug. Brother of Lynn (Gordon) Perrin, Bill (Debbie) Hasenpflug, Gwen (Don) Troutner and Karen (Alan) Deutscher. Bob will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Bob is predeceased by his father Orvil and best friend Larry Eli. Bob graduated from Waterloo Oxford District Secondary School where he played football. Bob then worked for J.M. Schneiders for 35 years and was a longtime member of the Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club. An avid trap and skeet shooting enthusiast, as well as a hunter and fisherman, Bob had a true passion for the outdoors. Bob enjoyed gatherings with family and friends, especially the music at the family "hootenannies". A Celebration of Life for Bob will be held at the Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club, 1229 Beitz Rd., Breslau, on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 2 p.m. followed by a reception at the club. Cremation will have taken place. Thank you to the staff at Grand River Hospital Kitchener-Waterloo site and the Juravinski Hospital for their excellent care of our son, brother, uncle and friend.
