    Golbeck, Harold John - On Monday, January 15, 1979, at Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, Harold John Golbeck, aged 63 years, of 152 Bridge St. Waterloo. He was born in Waterloo and was employed at the University of Waterloo. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Golbeck. Husband of the former Ruth Drudge; father of Doug, Wayne and Richard, all of Waterloo, Glen and David, both of Port Alberni, B.C. and Jean (Mrs. Richard Thuler) of Kitchener; brother of Lorne and Ruby (Mrs. Lorne Bender), both of Kitchener. Also survived by 12 grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers and one sister, Vera. Resting at the Edward R. Good funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after 7 pm this evening for funeral services in the chapel on Thursday at 2 pm, Rev. W.G. Wilkinson of Emmanuel United Church, Kitchener, officiating. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.

    WAYNE GOLBECK 1939 -2005 - Passed away, peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital, on Monday, May 9, 2005 at the age of 65 years. Wayne will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Ruth Golbeck (nee Drudge); sister, Jean Thuler of Waterloo; brothers, Doug and his wife Jeanette of Waterloo, Richard and Joan O'Connor of Waterloo, Glen and his wife Wendy of B.C. and David and his wife Rose of B.C. and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his father, Harold Golbeck; sister-in-law, Pat Golbeck and brother-in-law, Richard Thuler. Wayne worked for over 30 years at Sonar (formerly Sunshine) in Waterloo. Friends are invited to share their memories of Wayne with his family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 11 am. with Rev. Allan Rudy-Froese as celebrant. Following cremation, interment will take place in Parkview Cemetery. Friends are invited to join the family in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room for a time to visit following the service.
