Koch, Julius - At St. Mary's Hospital on Friday, November 26, 1976 following a lengthy illness, Julius Koch of 1009 Weber St. E., Kitchener, age 73 years. A member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. He was a field representative of District 6 of the United Rubber Workers of America and formerly had been employed for many years with B.F. Goodrich Canada Ltd. Mr. Koch was a past president of The Local 80 retirement club. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Otto Koch; husband of Ruby Hoffman; father of Laurie (Mrs. Kevin O'Brien) of Kitchener; brother of Edward of Elmira, Margaret (Mrs. Lloyd Dahmer) and Catherine (Mrs. Vernon Jonas), both of Conestogo; also surviving are four granddaughters, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener until noon on Monday when removal will be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church for the funeral and committal service at 2 pm, with Rev. Albert Lorch officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Contributions as expressions of sympathy may be made to the Ontario Heart Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
