    GUENTHER, Mrs. Hilda - Suddenly,. on Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, at St. Mary's Hospital, in Kitchener,, Hilda Salome Guenther, of Wellesley. Hilda was born in Wilmot township, 80 years ago. Daughter of the late Edwin Doering and the late Edna Wettlaufer: Mrs. Guenther was a lifelong member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Philipsburg, where she was active in the ELW and the sewing committee. She was excellent at quilting and crocheting. Hilda was also active with the bowling league and the Wellesley Horticultural Society. Beloved mother of Marion and her husband John Cook of Baden, Linda and her husband Robert Kraehling of RR 1, St. Agatha, Roy and his wife Lorraine Guenther of RR 1, Wellesley and Neil and his wife Joanne Guenther of Wellesley. Dear sister of Roy and his wife Blanche Doering of New Hamburg and Irene Neeb and the late Walter Neeb of Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Carl and Carol Cook, Beth and Randy Martin, Janet and Amy Kraehling, Jason and Rachael Kraehling, Laura and John Boronka, Gregory and Krista Guenther, Joshua and Jennifer Guenther and Allison and Lisa Guenther. Great-grandma of Chelsea; Chantal, Sheldon, Taylor and Colin. Predeceased by her husband, Lloyd John Guenther, December 21, 1996 and by a granddaughter, Joan Cook. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St., Wellesley, where family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2.4 and 7-9 p7m. At noon Friday Jan7, 2000 re moval will be made to Zion Lutheran Church for the Funeral service at 2 p.m., Pastor Eric Schultz will officiate; Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

    NEEB, Irene Elmina (nee Doering) Of Wellesley, Ontario. The love of Irene's family provided a sense of calm as she was surrounded in her final moments on May 6, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. This same comfort is what Irene provided to all of them throughout her 95 years of life. Treasured wife of the late Walter E. Neeb (1987). Loving mother of Carol Doucette (John Mowbray) of Conestogo, Ruth Leeson (Bill) of Waterloo, David (Paula) of Wellesley, Ron (Marjie) of Stratford, Elmer (Grace) of Wellesley, Gerald (Gwen) of Blyth, Shirley Roth (Ray) of Gadshill and Ken (Judy) of Floradale. Dearest grandmother of Holly Schnider (Chad Bader), Dana Leeson (Luke Mepham), Guy Neeb (Lauren Dietrich), Jason Neeb (Bernadette Cormier), Kim Klenot (Aaron), Matt Neeb (Jaime), Melissa Legere (Terry), James Neeb (Lisa), Jennifer Downs (Mark), Michael Neeb (Andrea), Christine Billard (Mark), Trisha Bell (Craig), Suzanne Vatnar (Gunnar), Katie Dunn (Brad), Sarah Neeb (Mike Plantz), Ryan Neeb (Michelle Timmins), Robert Neeb (Jussara), Alana Krause (Rob) and Sarah Mowbray. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren; Devin, Samantha, Avery, Georgia, Cassidy, Kinsley, Taylor, Kaytlin, Carson, Jackson, Aiden, Isabelle, Carter, Alice, Edward, Maddison, Kristine, Myles, Lily, Lucas, Luisa, Fiona, Grayson, Austin and Tyler. Predeceased by her parents Edwin and Edna Doering (Wettlaufer) and by her sister Hilda Guenther (Lloyd), brother Roy Doering (Blanche), sister-in-law and brother-in-law Hilda and Gordon Berg. Mom's priority was her family, her church and her community. A modest woman with quiet strength, Irene afforded endless support and generous love for her family while living a full life. Irene will be forever adored. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, May 12, 2017 at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1123 Henry Street, Wellesley, from 2 p.m. until time of the Celebration of Life at 3 p.m. Pastor David Hammer officiating.

    DOERING, Roy - Peacefully, on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at K-W Health of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Roy Doering, of New Hamburg and formerly of RR 2, Baden (Philipsburg).

    He was born in Wilmot Township 74 years ago, son of the late Edwin and Edna (Wettlaufer) Doering. Roy had farmed on the home farm for many years before retiring to New Hamburg. Roy was a life member of Zion Lutheran Church, Philipsburg where he had been caretaker of the cemetery and church custodian for a number of years. Roy had also been the caretaker of Riverside Cemetery in New Hamburg for eight years. He enjoyed carpentry work and was a avid card player.

    Beloved husband of Blanche Rabethge whom he married September 2, 1950. Dear brother of Irene Neeb of Wellesley and brother-in-law of Evelyn Hohl of New Hamburg, Irene and Donald Cunningham of Elmira, Laverne and Dora Rabethge of Kitchener. Roy is also lovingly remembered by 26 nieces, nephews and their families.

    Roy was predeceased by a sister, Hilda (January 3, 2000) and by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lloyd Guenther, Walter Neeb, Stanley Hohl and Elma and her husband Howard Heimpel and one niece.

    Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, on Sunday, Jan 9, 2000 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. ON Monday, Jan 10, 2000 at noon transfer will be made to Zion Lutheran Church, RR 2, Baden (Philipsburg) for the funeral service at 2 pm, with Pastor Eric Schultz officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
