    TOLEFF, William George

    Born May 11, 1929, passed away peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at the age of 87. Loving and devoted husband of Jean Toleff (nee Campbell). Cherished father of Linda Ryan (Raymond), Sharon Herman, Bill Toleff (Janice) and Robert Toleff (Joy). Proud grandfather of Tina, Jason, Billy (Keren), Jamie (Sherri) and Jonathan and great-grandfather of Ashley, Isaak, Emma, Liam, Sara, Jaden and Avery. Bill will also be sadly missed by his sister, Esther Kent, as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, as well as his buddy, Molly. Predeceased by his parents Lucy and Nicholas Toleff, his twin brother Robert (at birth), his sister Eleanor Zinger, his brother, Dennis Toleff and his granddaughter, Ashley LeBlanc. Bill served on the Preston Police Department, for 25 years and with the Waterloo County School Board until his retirement in 1995. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge, where family and friends were received on Monday, June 13, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers were recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Chalmers St. S. (at South St), Cambridge, on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
