At Marsdale Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Dolph Street, Cambridge, Sunday, July 26, 1987, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Emma Bowers; dear father of Patricia (Mrs. Fred Warning). Betty (Mrs. Joe Cook), both of Cambridge. Also survived by nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wade was born in London, England and was a resident of the Cambridge area for 80 years: former employee of the Grand River Railway and was a plumber by trade; veteran of the First World War, serving with the 111 Batallion overseas; life member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 126. Friends will be received at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home, Wednesday, at 2 p.m., with interment in Park Lawn cemetery.
