    Frank H. Boegel

    Frank H. Boegel, 78, Queen St. South, died Monday, in St. Mary's Hospital.

    Born in St. Clements, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Boegel. A retired carpenter, he was a member of St. Mary's RC Church, the League of the Sacred Heart and the Holy Name Society.

    His wife, the former Agnes Voisin, died in 1921.

    Surviving are two sons, Raymond of Waterloo and Clayton of Kitchener; two daughters, Alma of Kitchener and Sister M. Agnesine of Preston and one brother, Edward of Kitchener. There are two grandchildren.

    The body is at the Schreiter Sandrock Funeral Home, where the rosary will he recited at 8 p.m., Wednesday. Prayers at the funeral home at 8.30 a.m., Thursday and will he followed by requiem high mass at St. Mary's Church at 9 o'clock. Burial will he in St. Clements.

    Sister M. Agnesine

    Died at Notre Dame Convent, Waterdown on January 25, 2008 in the 69th year as a School Sister of Notre Dame. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Agnes (Voisin) Boegel; her sister, Alma Krieg and brothers, Vincent, Raymond and Clayton. Lovingly remembered by members of her religious community and relatives. Sister Agnesine started her teaching career at St. Mary's School, Kitchener. She then taught the elementary pupils at Notre Dame Academy, Waterdown and accompanied them to the newly opened St. Thomas School in the village. Other schools in Ontario where Sister Agnesine taught were Notre Dame of Welland, St. Emeric, Hamilton, St. Michael, Cambridge, Holy Family, Hanover and Lady of Lourdes, Waterloo where she was also principal. For nine years, Sister Agnesine served in schools in western Canada, namely in Mearns and Riviere Qul Barre, Alberta, Unity, Saskatchewan and Cloverdale, British Columbia. She also was teacher of religious education in the public school in Pine Point, Northwest Territories. After retiring from classroom teaching, Sister moved to Caledonia where she visited the elderly and was a part-time instructor in religious education in St. Patrick School. When Sister Agnesine moved to Notre Dame Convent, Waterdown, she generously assisted with a variety of tasks. Sister Agnesine was an avid reader and enjoyed both reciting and writing poetry. Visitors will be received at Notre Dame Convent on Saturday, January 26, 2008 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, January 27, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Service is on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 28, 2008 at 10: 30 a.m. Interment at Notre Dame Convent Cemetery.
