    At St. Mary's Hospital, on Wednesday, March 14, 1979, after a brief illness, Ida Klein of 16B Brubacher St., Kitchener, and formerly of Glasgow Street, Kitchener, age 92 years.

    A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Wife of the late Henry Bauer who predeceased her in 1957; mother of Norman and Henry, both of Kitchener, Clinton of Route 2, Wallenstein, Garfield of Guelph, Henrietta (Mrs. Joseph Hehn), Dorothy (Mrs. Waldemar Schieman), Lorraine (Mrs. William Soehner), Mrs. Pearl Straus, all of Kitchener and Ruby (Mrs. Harry Draves) of Waterloo; sister of William Klein of Kitchener; 43 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by her parents, John Klein and Caroline Zinger; two sons, Clifford and Vernon, four brothers and six sisters.

    Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, until noon on Saturday, when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Queen Street South, Kitchener, for the funeral and committal service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Roger Winger officiating. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.

    Suddenly, at his residence, on Friday, Feb. 19, 1988, Norman Bauer, of 58 Edmund Rd., Kitchener, aged 81 years. Mr. Bauer was an avid golfer and enjoyed five and 10 pin bowling in many senior leagues. He was a 33 year employee of B.F. Goodrich Canada Inc., before retirement and was also a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Beloved husband of Isabel (Soehner) and loving father of Evelyn (Mrs. Jack Harrison) of Ottawa, Florence (Mrs. Royden Kavelman), Joyce (Mrs. Bill Strub), Bonnie (Mrs. Murray Jackson), Sherry (Mrs. Richard Jewer), Larry and his wife Mary, all of Kitchener and Arlene Rau of Elmira; dear brother of Lorraine Soehner, Henrietta Hehn, Pearl Straus, Dorothy Schiemann, Hank and Clinton, all of Kitchener, Ruby Draves of Waterloo and Garfield of Guelph. Also sadly missed by 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; his son, Norman Bauer and two brothers, Vernon and Clifford.     Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, at the age of 96 years. Cherished wife of the late Waldemar Schiemann (1993). Loving mother of Shirley Langford. Proud grandmother of three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her sisters, Ruby Draves and Lorraine Soehner and brothers, Garfield and Clinton. Predeceased by her parents, Henry and Ida Bauer; sisters, Henrietta and Pearl; brothers, Norman, Henry, Vernon and Clifford. Dorothy was a life-long member of the congregation at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Funeral service celebrating Dorothy's life will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home.     1919 - 2009, Passed away peacefully, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the age of 90 years. Ruby will be sadly missed by her two sons, Bryon of Waterloo and Wayne of New Hamburg; her three grandchildren, Rick (Jody), Tim and Christine (Kevin Wilson); and her great-grandchildren, Daniel, Gregory, Geoffery, Camryn, Caitlin and Julia. She is also survived by her sister Lorraine Soehner and her brother, Clinton Bauer. Ruby was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Ida Bauer; her beloved husband, Harry John Draves; brothers, Henry, Vernon, Garfield and Clifford and Norman; sisters, Pearl, Dorothy and Henrietta; and her daughter-in-law, Jean Draves (nee Reinhart). Ruby will be remembered as an avid gardener and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Day and the nurses of the 7th floor of St. Mary's Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Ruby. The funeral service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.

    Bauer, Clinton Sr.

    It is with great sadness that the family of Clinton Bauer Sr. announces his passing on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at his home in Bayfield in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (1998). Loving dad to Cindy, Tim, Rick (Rhoda) all of Bayfield, Clinton Jr. (Lyn), Darrell (Barb) all of Listowel, Dennis of Ripley, Brenda of Waterloo, and Bev (Joe) of Erbsville. Proud and loving Poppa to 23 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

    He loved life, his family and friends, and was always grateful for what he had. Clint retired at 67 from Petro Canada where he worked for many years. Last surviving member of his family having been predeceased by his parents Henry and Ida Bauer, along with his ten siblings.

    Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62, Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Dreisinger Funeral Home followed by interment in Glen Allan Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and can be accessed on Clint's tribute page of the funeral home website. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Poppy Fund of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 469, Elmira would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.

He was a member and former usher at Blessed Sacrament RC Church. Beloved husband of Cleo (nee Dennis): loving son of Henrietta (Mrs. Joseph Hehn) of Kitchener. loving father of Scott, Joseph and Angela, all of Kitchener. Loving brother of Audrey Schaefer, Evelyn and her husband, Ken Kuhn, Helen and her husband, Norman Mueller, Joseph Hehn Jr. and his wife Shirley, Margaret Ann Campbell, all of Kitchener, Henry Hehn of Winterbourne, Keith Hehn and his wife Mary Ann of St. Clements. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Hehn. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday, at 9: 15 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at Blessed Sacrament RC Church on Thursday, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Donald Wilhelm officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery.

    Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Grand River Hospital, KW Health Centre at the age of 75. Born on February 11, 1942 in Kitchener to the late Harry Draves and former Ruby Bauer.

    Wayne will be dearly missed by Georgina Draves of Kitchener his 2 sons Rick and his wife Jody and Tim Draves of St. Clements. Cherished grandfather to Daniel, Greg, Geoff and Camryn and great-grandfather to Heidi. Wayne is survived by his brother Bryon Draves and wife Sydney Carruthers as well as by his niece Christine Draves and Kevin Wilson.

    At Waynes' request cremation has taken place. A come and go celebration of life will take place at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 12 \endash 3:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to a charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
