    Surrounded by his family, Paul died on Monday morning, July 12, 1999, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. He was 76 and a resident of Waterloo. Beloved husband and best friend of Joye (Waldschmidt). Dear father and role model for Blair Krauel of Kitchener, Dr. David Krauel and his wife Jill of Victoria, B.C., Heather and her husband David McFadden of Kimberley, B.C., Kevin Krauel and his wife Jayne, Heidi and her husband Peter McGough of Waterloo and Trent Krauel and his wife Mary of London. Loving grandfather to his ten grandchildren, Sara, Valerie, Jason, Blaine, Erin, Meghan, Lindsay, James, Andrew and Alexandra. Brother of Del Krauel and his wife Jean and Wilda and her husband Lloyd Carpenter of Kitchener and brother-in-law of Margaret Krauel of Mississauga. He was predeceased by a brother, Frank Krauel and his parents, Laura (Neumeyer) and William Krauel. Paul was an active member of his community. He was the retired managing partner of Coopers Lybrand in Kitchener-Waterloo, past president of the Waterloo Wellington Chartered Accountants Association, the Kitchener Kiwanis Club and the K-W Rehabilititian Services. In addition, he also helped to found K-W Parents for Community Living and the local chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He was a member of Trinity United Church in Kitchener and a former treasurer of Zion United Church in Kitchener. Paul's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., in Waterloo, from 2-4 p.m. today (Wednesday). A memorial service for relatives and friends will be held at Trinity United Church, 74 Frederick St., Kitchener, on Thursday, July 15, 1999, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Kirker officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Cremation has taken place.
