    Biehn, A. Lincoln, son of Milton and Sarah (Thaler) Biehn, was born in Waterloo Co., Ont., July 8, 1905; died in St. Mary's Hospital, Oct. 3, 1980; aged 75 y. He was married to Grace Paterson, who survives. Also surviving are 2 brothers (Clair and Mervin) and one sister (Violet-Mrs. Oliver Koch). He was preceded in death by one sister. He was a member of First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, where funeral services were held on Oct. 6, in charge of Glenn Brubacher; interment in Memory Gardens.

    Mr. HAROLD BIEHN

    Born: June 10, 1908 in Guernsey, Saskatchewan Died:October 2. 1993 at Countryview Retirement Residence Aged: 85 years Harold was a son of the late Milton Biehn and the former Sarah Thaler.He was a member of Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship, Dorking. He had farmed in Saskatchewan until moving to R.R. 4, Listowel.

    Beloved husband of the former Eileen Shantz who predeceased him in April of 1987.

    Lovingly remembered by his children Maynard and his wife Grace of Newton, Myra and her husband Don Brunk of R.R. 1, Newton, Ruby and her husband Henry Soderberg of Young, Saskatchewan, Elvern and his wife Ruth Anne of R.R. 4,Listowel.

    Sadly missed by his grandchildren Rhonda, Neal and Dennis Schellenberg, Lynnette and Tracy Brunk, Trevor, Jason and Josalyn Biehn. Dear brother of Clair of Milverton, Mervin and his wife Helen of Moorefield and Violet (Mrs. Oliver Koch) of Conestoga. Also remembered by a sister-in-law Grace Biehn of Kitchener. Harold was predeceased by a daughter Arlene in infancy: A brother Lincoln and a sister Olive.

    Family and friends called at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacific Avenue, Milverton until Tuesday, October 5, 1993 when transfer was made to Countryside Mennonite Fellowship, Hawkesville where the funeral service was held at 2: 00 p.m. Pastor Edgar Frey officiated.

    Interment followed in Hillside Cemetery.

    Harold married Eileen Shantz 25 Dec 1930. Eileen (daughter of Henry Cyrenas Shantz and Angeline Snider) was born 19 Apr 1908, Aldersyde, Alberta; died 21 Apr 1987, Listowel, Wallace Twp., Perth County, Ontario, Canada; was buried , Hillside United Cemetery, Wellesley Twp, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.     BIEHN, Clair David -Passed away on Fri., Dec. 12, 2003 at Stratford General Hospital. He was born 92 years ago in Guernsey, Sask. and was the s/o the late Milton and Sarah (Thaler) Biehn.

    Clair resided at Country Meadows, Brunner and was formerly of Millbank. Clair was a member of Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship, Dorking. Beloved husband of Olive (Shantz) Biehn who predeceased him Sept. 5,1990.

    Dear father of Rita and husband Archie Lees, Pearl and husband Ben Lauber, all of Edmonton, Alta., Carol and husband Larry Dahmer of Innisfail, Alta., Winnifred and husband Doug Wismer of Kitchener, Homer and wife Catherine Biehn of RR4 Listowel, Edith Biehn and husband Wayne Frayle of Manitoulin Island, Loyal and wife Margo Biehn of Sebringville,and Hazel Biehn of Coquitlam, B.C.

    Sadly missed by 15 grandchildren and17 great-grandchildren. Also missed by his brother, Mervin Biehn of Palmerston; brother-in-law Oliver Koch of St. Jacobs and sisters-in-law Leona Martin of Elmira and Violet Shantz of Kitchener.

    BIEHN, Mervin Lavern - Of Palmerston and formerly of RR1, Moorefield, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2007, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Betty (Friesen) Biehn (1995). Dear father of Roy and Miriam Biehn of Hawkesville, Bernice and Clayton Gingrich of Palmerston, Edwin and Rose Biehn of Moorefield, Vernon Biehn of Saskatchewan, Myron and Penny Biehn of Palmerston and Lavern and Sharon Biehn of Manitoba. Fondly remembered by his nineteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother-in-law Oliver Koch. Predeceased by one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter, two sisters Olive Biehn and Violet Koch as well as three brothers Lincoln, Harold and Clair Biehn. Mervin was born on February 27, 1925 at Guernsey, Saskatchewan. He married Helen Betty Friesen on November 14, 1948 at Duchess, Alberta and they farmed at Guernsey, Saskatchewan from 1948 until 1966 when the family moved to RR1, Moorefield. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Countryside Mennonite Fellowship, Hawkesville on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 2 p.m. followed by interment in Hillside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Christian Aid Ministries or Northern Youth Programs would be appreciated.

    ELVERN BIEHN OBITUARY

    Passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Elvern Biehn of Millbank in his 77th year.

    Beloved husband of Ruth Anne (nee Gerber) who he married April 16, 1971. Dear father of Trevor & Lesley Biehn of Stratford, Jason Biehn & Sharon Hovestadt of Toronto/Brantford and Josalyn & Gerrit Hagen of Hamilton. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Katelyn, Evan, Elijah, Jeremiah, Levi, Justice, Grayson, Joel, Micah and Jaeda. He is survived by his sisters Myra Brunk of Millbank, Ruby & Karl Regier of Saskatchewan, by brothers and sisters-in-law Grace Biehn of Stratford, Marlene & Mel Lichty of Stratford, Gary Gerber of Calgary, Betty Gilchrist & Dale Wood of Waterloo, Jamie & Karen Gerber of Wellesley.

    Predeceased by his parents Harold & Eileen (Shantz) Biehn, brother Maynard Biehn, brothers-in-law Don Brunk and Andrew Gerber, sister-in-law Sandra Gerber and mother and father-in-law Steve & Edna Gerber.

    Relatives and friends will be received at the Milverton Christian Fellowship, 6619 Perth Rd. 131 Milverton on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Milverton Christian Fellowship on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11:00am. Reception to follow in the Church hall followed by burial in Rushes Cemetery.

    DELMAR KOCH

    Delmar Keith Koch, seven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Koch, died at the family residence near Conestogo Thursday, November 19, after a brief illness. He attended Conestogo Public School.

    In addition to his parents, surviving are a brother, Glen, one sister, Marlene and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Koch and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Biehn. A sister, Beverley Ann, predeceased him in 1941.

    The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor until Saturday noon when removal was made to the home for private service Sunday at 2:00 p.m. A public memorial service followed at St. Jacobs' Mennonite Church. Bishop Roy S. Koch, assisted by Rev. Leonard Haarer, officiated. Interment was in St. Jacobs Cemetery.
