    O'NEILL, Fergus Joseph

    Of Fairview Road, Cambridge, on Friday, Jan. 27, 1995, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Mildred Lucas; dear father of Charles and his wife Joanne, Edward and his wife Jeannine, James and his wife Carol, Richard and Gerald, all of Cambridge, Ann and her husband Terry Hishon of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold (Mickey) of Texas and one sister, Mary Clancy of Oshawa. Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary O'Neill; one son, Thomas: one daughter, Helen Brand; one brother, Lorne and two sisters, Helen Clough and Rose in infancy. Mr. O'Neill was born in Downeyville, Ont. and was a retired steel worker. He was a member of St. Clement's RC Church, Past Grand Knight of the Galt 2148 Council of the Knights of Columbus. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 30, 1995, at St. Clement's RC Church, Duke Street, Cambridge, at 9: 30 a.m., with Father McSharry, celebrant. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery.

    Of Michael Crescent, Cambridge, on Sunday, Dec. 11, 1994, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 53rd year. Helen O'Neill, beloved wife of Shannon Michael Brand and daughter of Fergus and Mildred O'Neill of Cambridge. Dear mother of Shayne, Leona, Lesley and Christine, all of Cambridge. Also survived by five brothers, Charles, Edward, James, Richard and Gerald, all of Cambridge and one sister, Anne Hishon of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Shannian, Houston, Austin and Jordan. Predeceased by one brother, Thomas. Mrs. Brand was born in Downeyville, Ont. and had been a lifelong resident of Cambridge. She was a past employee of LOEB I.G.A., Cambridge and a member of St. Clement's RC Church. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 1994, at 10: 30 a.m., with Father James McSharry, celebrant. Cremation to follow.
