Passed away, peacefully, on June 23, 2005, in her 81st year, at her home in Kitchener. Beloved wife of Sangster of 57 years. Dear mother of Ron Goettling (Wendy Elrick) of New Hamburg, Rob Goettling (Elizabeth) of Kitchener, Karen Reinhart (Joe) of Kitchener. Helen will be sadly missed by her grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Ruby Hamacher of Kitchener, Arlene Arnet of Victoria B.C.; also survived by aunt Irene Sims and her brother Lorne Eckstein (Lois) of Waterloo and her sister-in-law Gertrude Schaefer of Ayr. Predeceased by her parents, Walter and Martha Eckstein; brothers-in-law, Richard Hamacher, Clarence Schaefer and sister-in-law, Violet Fried. Special mom to Sheila, Kim, and Darren (Rose) Longpre. Visitation to take place today (Monday) at 10 a.m. at the Wilmot Centre Missionary Church, 2463 Bleams Rd., Petersburg, followed by a Funeral Service, at 11 a.m.

She joins in eternal rest her beloved husband Richard Hamacher, who predeceased her on May 4, 2000. Loving mother of Gerry and his wife Karen of Oakville and Roger and his wife Laurie of Wilmot Centre. Proud grandmother of Lauren, Ryan, Shawn and Jeremy. Ruby is fondly remembered by her sister, Arlene Arnet of Victoria, B.C., and brother, Lorne Eckstein of Waterloo. She is predeceased by her sister, Helen Goettling. ROBERT CARL GOETTLING

1950 - 2006 Passed away, peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Wednesday, December 27, 2006, in his 57th year. Survived by his wife Elizabeth. Proud father of Jeffery, Bradley and Jennifer. Greatly missed by his father, Sangster Goettling (Helen 2005); brother, Ron (Wendy); sister, Karen (Joe) Reinhart, Sean and Lisa (Ernie). Special brother to Sheila, Kim (Amber and Rachelle), Darren (Rose), Brent and Megan Longpre. Brother-in-law to Stewart (Nancy) Cressman, Carol Cressman Foster (Peter 2001) and Janet Cressman. He leaves behind many dear aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Robert enjoyed gardening, flowers (orchids), cooking, travelling and visit-ing with people. A special thank you to all who so graciously cared for Robert. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories of Robert with his family during visitation on Tuesday, January 2, 2007, from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. The funeral service to celebrate Robert's life will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m., Tuesday, with Pastor Graham Burkhart and Pastor Wayne Domm officiating. A time of fellowship and lunch will follow the service in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. A private family interment will be held in Wilmot Centre Cemetery.
