DEFRAIN, George S.

Of 1200 Hamilton St., Cambridge, on Thursday, Dec. 6, 1990, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Kathleen Osborne: dear father of Douglas and Jim, both of Cambridge, Louis and his wife Mary of Maine, Fla., Kathleen Defrain of Kitchener and Janice (Mrs. Philip Gale) of Quebec. Lovingly remembered by three grandchildren. Mr. Defrain was born in the United States of America and came to Cambridge, 47 years ago from Woodstock. He was a retired school principal having had terms at Central and Grandview public schools of Cambridge (P). A member of St. Paul's United Church, the Probus Club of Cambridge and a life member of the Preston Kinsmen. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at St. Paul's United Church, King Street, Cambridge (P), Saturday, Dec. 8, 1990, at 1: 30 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of cremated remains in Parklawn cemetery.
