On Sunday, Dec 10, 1989, at St Mary's Hospital, Jack McCormick, in his 80th year, of 39 Riverside Drive West, Elmira. Beloved husband of Erena McCormick, fondly remembered by his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Helen Lutz of Elmira; his grandchildren, Robin and Diann Lutz, Susan Abbass and Leigh and Robert Cotie. Nine great-grandchildren also survive. Dear brother of Frank and Lillian McCormick of Elmira; uncle of Gary and Doris McCormick and Mark McCormick. Predeceased by two sisters, Bessie McCormick and Alice Gillies; one son, William Lutz; one daughter, Margaret Cooper and two grandchildren, Timothy Lutz and Gail Cotie. Jack was employed with Ontario Hydro, for 25 years before his retirement; a Past Master of Glenrose Masonic Lodge, Elmira and a faithful member of Gale Presbyterian Church. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, after 7 p.m., today (Monday), where the family will receive their friends tonight (Monday) 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Wednesday, transfer will be made to Gale Presbyterian Church, Elmira, for funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. John Boyne officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union cemetery.
