After a brief illness, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, March 6, 1987, Verna Pearl Pilch, in her 75th year. Predeceased by husband, William. (Bill) Corry. Loving mother of son, Allan and his wife Eloise of Kitchener; daughters, Kay of Hamilton and Barbara and her husband Frank Cook of Toronto. Sadly missed by granddaughters, Debbie and her husband Roy Currier and Linda and her husband Dale Skanes and great-grandchildren, Michael and Mark Currier and Kelly and Lisa Skanes, all of Kitchener. Mrs. Corry was born in Toronto and came to Cambridge, in 1929. The family will receive friends at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, March 9, 1987, at 3.30 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery.
