    RUTH, Ernest Anthony

    Of Cambridge, passed away, on Wednesday, June 13, 2001, in his 79th year. He leaves to mourn his loving wife, Thelma (Dolly) Zimmerman. Loving father of six children, Larry, Norbert, Angela, Therese Klotz, Patricia and Shelley Hunt. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Before retiring, he was employed at the Preston Post Office for 32 years. He was a life member of Preston Legion Branch No. 126 and had served in the Navy, during the Second World War. Ernie was born in Hepworth, Ont., the son of the late Anthony Ruth and Josephine Beninger. He was predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters. He was a member of St. Clement's Parish, Preston. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home, at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial, will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge, on Saturday, June 16, 2001, at 10 a.m. Interment in Park Lawn Cemetery.

    RUTH, Lawrence (Larry) William Francis

    Passed away, on Thursday, March 8 2007, at Grand River Hospital I.C. Unit, Kitchener, at the age 57. Cherished best buddy and husband to Margaret Tabor-Mann and dearly loved son of Thelma (Dolly) Ruth (Zimmerman) and the late Ernie Ruth of Cambridge. He is survived by sons, Christopher and Scott Ruth (Cambridge) and granddaughter, Savanah. He will always be remembered in the hearts of his brother, sisters, and brothers-in-law. Norbert Ruth (Cambridge), Angela McDowell and Don Macdonald (Kitchener), Therese and Pete Klotz (Cambridge), Trish Ruth and Terry Rahn (Cambridge), Shelley and Tom Hunt (Cambridge). His zest and love of life and laughter will always be remembered by his step-children, Ryan and Shawna Porter (Kitchener), Rob and Christine Mann (Cambridge), Brenda Mann (Cambridge) and grandchildren Tyler Scott, Olivia and Yvonne Mann. Uncle Larry will be missed by Christina, Dane and baby Ethan McDowell, Jamie and Trina Ruth, Brandon and Carlin Klotz, Reis Sharp, Riley, Spencer and Alyssa Hunt. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's R.C. Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Monday, March 12, 2007, at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
