BARBER, Roy Samuel - Of Garden Street, Cambridge on Wednesday July 22, 1998 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Warner) Barber (Nov. 1997). Dear father of Barbara Blanchard of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Survived by three brothers, Edward and his wife Lynda, James and his wife Shirley, all of Toronto, and William and his wife Dorothy Mississauga. Predeceased by his parents John and Kathleen Barber, two brothers John and Robert, and two sisters Mary Hesben, and Ruth Moore. Mr. Barber was born in Toronto and has been a resident of Cambridge since 1970. He was a retired superintendent of Harrison-Muir Construction Ltd. of Toronto and a Veteran of WW II serving overseas with the 4th Light Anti-Aircraft. At Mr. Barber's request cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Barthel Funeral Home, Cambridge 653-3251.
