BORGES, Helena Margaret (nee Galvao)

Peacefully, at her residence in Cambridge, on Friday, June 4, 2010, at the age of 50. Loving and devoted wife of Jorge. Cherished mother of Matthew (Jennifer Normore), Daniel, Sarah and Luke. Helena will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Connie Mesce (Frank), Aldina Moreira (Manuel), Estella Correia and brothers Joe Galvao, John Galvao (Alison) and Luis Galvao (Kim) as well as her mother-in-law, Maria Borges and her sister-in-law, Odilia Galvao. She will also be fondly remembered by several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her brother, Anthony Galvao. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Monday, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Chalmers St. S., (at South St.), Cambridge, on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
