Born in Santa Maria, Azores February 18, 1940. At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the age of 70. Dear wife of Joao Resendes and beloved mother of Joe of Cambridge; Deolinda Devine (David) of Neustadt; Elsa Dunkley (Al Fyfe) of Cambridge; Dennis Resendes of Cambridge and Cynthia Resendes also of Cambridge. Beloved grandmother of Taryn, Jessica, Kara, Destini, Justin, Kevin, Renee, Desiree and Damien. Beloved sister of Denis Cabral (Vielmina) of Toronto; Maria Jose Andrade; Maria Virginia Andrade (Jose) both of Cambridge. She was predeceased by her parents Jose and Angelina Cabral and her brother Antonio Cabral. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home , 95 Dundas Street N. Cambridge where the family will receive friends and family on Tuesday 6-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
