Passed away peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at age 69 years. Beloved husband of Peggy. Loving father of Sam (Sonny) Turner, Scott Turner (Enza) and Carolann Turner (Willie). Dearly loved Grandfather of eight grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild. Survived by brothers; Carl and David and sisters; Roberta, Myrna, Delores, Donna, Joan and Linda. Also by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Alice and Eddie Jones and Tammy and Bill Mercer. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Esther Turner. Sam was a long time employee of Budd Canada, for thirty-two years and a loving and devoted family man. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery. A special thank-you to Cambridge Memorial Hospital Daycare Clinic, Para-Med homecare nurses, Shelley and Melanie and Dr. Koke.
