Passed away peacefully, at her residence, on Sunday, April 6, 2003, with her family by her side. Barbara was in her 61st year. Beloved daughter of the late Matthias Schimon and Magdalena Koch. Beloved wife of John; loving mother of Marina of Vancouver, B.C., Anthony of Kitchener and Barbara of Cambridge. Fondly remembered by her sisters, Elisabeth Grau of Waterloo, Magdalena Rehmann of Balingen, Germany and by her brothers, Johann and Jakob also of Balingen, Germany. The family will receive friends at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton (at Church St.), Kitchener, 742-4481 on Tuesday (tonight) 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Wednesday 8: 30 p.m. Morning prayers will be recited from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 10, 2003, at 10: 30 a.m. followed by procession to St. Anthony Daniels RC Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial, at 11: 00 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
