Suddenly, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, January 1, 2009, at the age of 69. Loving and devoted husband of Lucilia. Cherished father of Elizabeth Carreiro (Rick), Maria Botsford (John), Joe (Diana) and Nelson. Special grandfather of Dillon, Joshua, Monique, Emily, Atha, Nicole, and Ian. Brother of Germana Rego (Denis), Jose Soares (Gilda), Rosa Damasco (Gilberto) and his sister-in-law, Deodata. Francisco is predeceased by his parents, Francisco and Maria da Luz Soares and his brothers, Raphael (2008) and Gregorio (2007). Frank was employed for over 25 years, with Freure Homes. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited in the funeral home chapel at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Elgin St. S., Cambridge on Saturday, January 3, 2009, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
