RESENDES, Jose Bairos "Jose da Cunha"

(Formerly of Santa Maria, Azores). Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at the age of 75. Loving husband of 57 years to Filomena Chaves Resendes. Beloved father of Maria Lurdes (Joao), Jose Resendes (Connie), John Resendes (Natalie), Tina Chaves (Manuel) and Jorge Resendes (Jayne). Cherished and proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Jose is survived by his brother, John (Francelina), sister, Maria Santos and sister-in-law, Giumar. Predeceased by his parents, Manuel and Anna Resendes, brothers; Antonio and Manuel. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Thursday, 3-5 and 7-9 pm and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home Friday evening, at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Elgin Sreet, South, on Saturday, March 3, 2007, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
