RESENDES, Maria Do Carmo

November 10, 1919-February 26, 2010. Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 26th, 2010, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Laurenio Coelho Resendes. She will forever be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her children; Manuel (Lilia), Natalia (Agostinho), Laurenio, and Carminha. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren, who each adored her: Manny, Jean (John), Dean (Joanne), Tommy, Cesar (Fil), Nelson (Jill), Sandi, Peter (Priscilla), Sandra (Michael) and Jason. She was also the loving and cherished Great-Grandmother of 11: Aaron, Jesse, Olivia, Nick, Jack, Ben, Milena, Nico, Cristan, Marcus and Madeleine. We were greatly blessed to have her in our lives for so long and we will always remember the lessons she taught us, her kind generous nature and her beautiful smile. Rested at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family received friends on Sunday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church on Monday, March 1, 2010, at 9 a.m. Rosary recited at the funeral home Sunday February 28, 2010 at 8 p.m. Interment followed at Park Lawn Cemetery.
