Peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the age of 76. Loving and devoted husband of Elvira. Cherished father of Joe (Rose), Ines (Joe), Duarte (Krystin) and Victor (Maria). Special grandfather of Nina (Walter), Niko, Nicole, Mikela, Skye-Lynne, Shane, Ty, Tyler and Samantha. Joao will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Maria Dos Anjos, Beatriz and Valentina. Predeceased by his parents Jose and Georgina and his brothers, Antonio, Diniz, Carlos, Jose Manuel. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be recited at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Chalmers St. S. (at South St.), Cambridge, on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.
