Peacefully, passed away surrounded by his family at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Maria De Lourdes Mancebo. Dear father of Joe Mancebo (Claudia), Domingos Mancebo (Tracey), Maria Akai (Darren), Paul Mancebo (Donna), Nancy Sobolewski (Sylvester) and the late Maria Socorro. Loving vovô of Samantha, Jessica, Ariel, McKenna, Leah, Isabelle, Morgan, Justine, Joshua, Tristan and Lucas. Survived by his siblings Maria Alcina Escobar (Jose), Manuel Mancebo (Gorett) and Maria Socorro Mancebo and by many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Angelina Mancebo. Jose worked at Hostess Frito-Lay, for 33 years prior to his retirement. The family would like to thank Medical Day Care at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, for their exceptional care, especially Dr. Chouinard and his team. Rested at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge. Funeral Mass was held from Our Lady of Fatima RC Church 185 Elgin Street S., Cambridge. Interment followed at Parklawn Cemetery.
