    STEVER, Betty Marie (nee Wittaker)

    Surrounded by the love of her family and friends, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, in Fergus, Betty went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, Betty Stever, of Kitchener, age 61 years, with cancer. Deeply loved and missed by her children, Laura and her husband Mark Gerber of Kitchener, Gail Bain of Cambridge, John Stever of Fergus and Karen and her husband Peter Boshart of Fergus. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Matthew, Faith, Tyler, Rachel, Kyle, Eric, Nicholas and Arron. Survived by her mother, Rosalie (Whittaker) and her husband Roy Snider of Fergus. Dear sister of Margaret Ball (Colin), Joan Henderson (Jim), Diane Ronald (Bryon) and brothers, Robert Whittaker (Dian) and Keith Whittaker (Linda) and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Henry (Hank) Stever (1978) and her father, Robert Whittaker (1989). The family received their friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus, on Wednesday, Dec. 26, from 7-9 p.m. and will receive friends today Thursday, Dec. 27 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service in memory of Betty Stever will be celebrated at the Wanner Mennonite Church, corner of Beaverdale and Maplegrove Roads, in Cambridge, on Friday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m., followed by interment, at the Wanner Mennonite Cemetery.
