    VOKEY, Frederick

    Passed away at his residence in Cambridge, with his loving wife and family at his side, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, July 29, 1998, aged 67 years. Fred Vokey is the beloved husband of Georgina (nee Clarke). Dear father of Stella (Rod) O'Conner, Gloria (Kim) Leduc, Cynthia (Paul) Ayres, Brenda (Alan) Murray & Shelly Vokey and her fiancee Daniel Galecki all of Cambridge. Loved grandfather of 12 grandchildren. Dear brother of Edgar (Geraldine) Vokey, Winston (Dinah) Vokey both of Newfoundland and Stella (Cyril) Neil of Simcoe. He was predeceased by 2 brothers; Hubert & Gordon and his parents; Philip & Elizabeth Vokey. Mr. Vokey was a Past Master of Preston Lodge #297 A.F. & A.M. A member of the Preston Chapter Lodge #245, the Cambridge Preceptory #62, the Cambridge Shrine Club, the Mocha Temple of London, The Preston Springs Order of the Eastern Star #208 and Mr. Vokey was a Past Grand Stewart of the Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Canada, in the Province of Ontario. Friends will be received at COUTTS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Thursday, from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted in Trinity Anglican Church, Cambridge, on Saturday, August 1, 1998, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Carolyn Pollock officiating. Interment Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
