BARBER, Margaret Francesca (nee Lawlor)

At Riverbend Place, Cambridge, on Sunday, April 17, 2005, in her 93th year. Margaret Barber, is the beloved wife for 72 years of the late Albert Barber (2003): loving mother of Clare and his wife Delight of Woodstock and Jim and his wife Nancy of Kitchener. Margaret will be missed by her nine grandchildren: 16 great-grandchildren; her son-in-law, Jack Drinkwater: three sisters; Mary, Rita, Jenny and one brother, Joseph. She was predeceased by her daughter, Ruth Drinkwater. Friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the service, in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Cambridge. A reception will then take place in Courts Family Reception Cottage.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.

DRINKWATER, Ruth Ann

Peacefully, on Tuesday, June 15, 1999, in her 65th year, after a three year battle with cancer. Ruth Drinkwater (nee Barber) was the loving wife of Jack Drinkwater. Beloved mother of Peter and daughter-in-law, Lillian of Lambeth, Jane and son-in-law, Dave Robertson of Cambridge, John and daughter-in-law, Gilda of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jenna, Megan, Christina, Mitchell, Jack and Joshua. She will be sadly missed by her parents, Margaret and Albert Barber: brother, Clare and wife Delight of Woodstock and also brother, Jim and wife Nancy of Ladysmith. Friends will be received at Coutts & Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel, on Friday, June 18, 1999, at 1: 30 p.m., with The Rev. Bob Skelding officiating. Interment to follow, in Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
