Notes:

A substantial 2-storey front-gabled Shingle Style residence with a porte-cochere entrance and room over to one side. The lower portion is stuccoed and the upper wood shingled. Later changes include closing in the projecting front porch and installing a fire escape from the front gable window. This prestigious home was the property of S. J. Williams, president of Williams, Greene and Rome, shirt and collar manufacturers whose factory was located at Queen Street South and Courtland.
