    Mrs. Adam J. White

    Mrs. Adam J. White of 61 Strange St., died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was 83.

    Born in Guelph, she was the former Mary Ann Sosnoski, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Sosnoski. She lived in Kitchener 64 years and was a member of St. John's RC Church and the Catholic Women's League of the church. She was predeceased by her husband in 1953; a son, John, and five brothers.

    Surviving are a son, Harold of Stratford; a brother, Martin of California; a sister, Mrs. Leo (Helen) Schekene of St. Catharines; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the parish rosary will be recited Thursday at 8: 30 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home Friday at 9: 30 a.m. followed by removal to the church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. with Rev. John Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.

    John P. White - John Paul White, 52, of 77 Raddatz Lane, died suddenly at his home Tuesday. Born June 25, 1909, he was employed for 35 years at J.M. Schneider Ltd., and was a member of the 25 Year Club, St. John's RC Church and the Holy Name Society. He was predeceased by his father, Adam J. White and his first wife, the former Cecilia Murawsky. Surviving are his mother Mary Sosnoski; his present wife, the former Elizabeth Brock, whom he married last month; one son, Donald of Waterloo; one stepson, William Brock, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Beverley) Wideman of Waterloo; one brother, Harold of Stratford, and two grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 8 pm Thursday at the Gruhn Funeral Home, followed by prayers at 9: 30 am Friday. The funeral will be conducted at 10 am Friday from St. John's RC Church by Rev. William Gleason. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

    Dear father of Bernard (Margaret) of Kitchener, Donna (Don) MacArthur of Stratford, Jan (Bob) Briden of Guelph, Nancy (Gary) Harvey of Oshawa and Craig (Kerry) of Waterloo. Cherished grandfather of Marty, Paula, Catherine, Heather, James, Janet, Robb, Matt, Laura-Beth, Lisa, Richard, Michelle, Erin, Kevin and Austin. Proud great-grandfather of Lauren, Chance, and Lachlan. Harold is survived by his daughter-in-law, Marjorie Stix.

    Predeceased by his wives, Eileen (nee Uhrig, 1977) and Iris (nee Burnside, 1998); his brother, John and his son, Dennis (1975).
    He was a longtime employee of 41 years for National Grocer in Kitchener, Stratford and Oshawa. A member of the Knights of Columbus and the Rotary Club.

    Mr. White was born in Kitchener, a son of Harold White of Oshawa, and the former Eileen Uhrig, who predeceased him October 11, 1971.

    Mr. White was a member of St. Francis RC Church; had been employed with Zehrs Markets for the past six years; presently assistant manager of the Stanley Park Plaza Market and formerly manager of the Lancaster Plaza store.

    Surviving are his wife the former Marjorie E. Faulhafer; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Harold M.
