We are celebrating the life of Mary Christina Glover who passed away in peace with her family by her side at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late James Arthur Glover (1990) Cherished mother to Jimmy (Jeanne), Robert (Pat) and Brenda (Lou). Outstanding grandma and Nan to Rob, Tasha (Jonathan), Myke, Val and Nicole. Epic great-grandma to Miles. Well "lord love a duck" there must have been something in the soil out east that made our Mom/Nan so special. She blessed us with a lifetime of generosity, unforgettable laughter and hand cut french fries. Her devotion to her family was unprecedented and we all loved her fiercely. There will never be a day that passes when she will not be in our thoughts. Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the staff in Johnston House at Columbia Forest LTC. Thank you for recognizing how extraordinary our Mom/Nan was, and for taking good care of her in her twilight years. Visitation will be held at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener, Ontario on Monday August 8, 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers and to truly honour our Mom's and Nan's memory, a donation of a new Teddy Bear would be appreciated. These will be donated to Toronto's Sick Kids. Otherwise, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation can be made. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 56 Duke St. W. Kitchener, Ontario on Tuesday August 9, from 10 am. She will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery. Share a memory at www.westmountfuneralchapel.com
