    APEL, Wilfred - Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Friday, December 19, 2008, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband to the late Wilma Apel (1998). Loving father to Judy and her husband Dave Seibert, and son David and his wife Valerie. Cherished brother to Dorothy and her husband Ken Sproat. Wilfred will be forever remembered by his loving grandchildren, Mark and Heather Ford, Mary Jane and Dave Thomas, Sherry and Jim O'Brien, Scott, Jennifer, Kevin (Leah) Apel, Stephanie and Nathan Stretch. He will be greatly missed by his great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Taylor, Natalie, James, Patrick and Neleh. Predeceased by his parents, Freeman and Ruby and by his son, Tim (Dianne) Apel. Wilfred was a member of the Galt curling club, an avid golfer and a Second World War Veteran. He worked for 38 years at Walker Exhaust as a tool and dye maker. He loved to spend time with his family. His children and grandchildren gave him great joy. Times at the cottage, card games, back rubs, fishing and ice cream trips will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at T. Little's Funeral Home, 223 Main St. E., on Monday, December 22 (today) from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.     APEL, Tim - After a long struggle, at the Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, February 24, 2004, in his 54th year. First beloved son of Wilf. Predeceased by his mother Wilma. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dianne. Beloved father of Scott and Jennifer. Fondly remembered by his sister Judy and her husband Dave, and brother David and wife Valerie. Tim also leaves behind nieces and nephews Mark, Mary Jane, Sherry, Kevin and Stephanie, and four great-nieces and nephews. Throughout Tim's life he was very involved in the community through many sports organizations and the Cambridge Fall Fair. As a result he gained many friendships. Family and friends will be received at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre for a memorial visitation on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service will be conducted in The Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 27, 2004 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Cambridge Multiple Sclerosis Society.
