Bailey, Frederick (Fred) J. - At St. Mary's General Hospital on Tuesday January 6, 1998, suddenly, as the result of a heart attack, Frederick John Bailey of Bedford Road, Kitchener, age 70 years. Fred had been employed as a foreman for Lear Corporation Canada Ltd., for 30 years retiring in 1990. He was an executive with the Lear Seigler Credit Union. Husband to the former Irene Fargo; father to Karen and her husband Richard Boxwell of Kitchener; brother to Winnie and her husband Sid Price of New Westminster, BC, Doris and her husband Dick Waring of Cambridge; three grandchildren Tacey and her husband Brad, Cindy and her husband Chris, Mark and Andrea and one great-grandson, Zachary also survive. Predeceased by his parents, Bill Bailey and Lillian Lidbetter; one brother Wilfred and one sister, Lil. At Fred's request there will be o visitation at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday from Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home Chapel, 621 King St. W., Kitchener at 11 am, with Rev. Robert Towler officiating. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association may be made, as expressions of sympathy. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
