GEIGER, Sangster D. - At the K-W Hospital, on Thursday, June 28, 1973, after a lengthy illness, Sangster Dilman Geiger, of 66 Brubacher St., age 78 years; born near Phillipsburg, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Geiger, a resident of the Twin Cities for the past 53 years; a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and formerly employed at the Waterloo Fuel Company for 31 years. He retired in 1968. Husband of Edna C. Schmitt; step-son of Mrs. Amanda Geiger of Kitchener and father of Arlen at home and Ruby (Mrs. Albert Searth) of Waterloo; brother of Maurice Geiger, Venice, Fla.; Clayton, Toronto; Dianna (Mrs. Edgar Schmitt), Waterloo; Clara (Mrs. Edward Prowse), Hamilton; Florence Geiger, a missionary in Nigeria; grandfather of Thomas Searth in Ottawa and Karen (Mrs. Garth Mann) of Calgary; great-grandfather of Allison and Alana Mann; predeceased by a sister, Mrs. Irene Smith and a brother John.

Resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener, after noon on Saturday. Funeral service in the chapel Monday at 2 pm with Rev. C. S. Roberts officiating. Interment St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
