Mrs. Schaefer's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo, Rev. Judi Harris officiating. Interment Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo.

Memorial contributions to the Emergency Relief Fund of the church or the Canadian Cancer Soci ety would be appreciated.

Mrs. Gleiser was born in Waterloo and was a daughter of the late Lillie Totzke and William Miller. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo; the Lutheran Church Women and was retired from Dominion Life, where she had worked for over 25 years.

Predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Gleiser, January 11, 1949; one brother, Carl Miller and one sister, Marcella (Molly) Miller.

Beloved mother of Carol Mae of Waterloo. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Mrs. Leota Schaefer of Waterloo; a sister-in- law, Mrs. Evelyn Miller of Waterloo and two nieces, Ruth Schaefer of Waterloo and Susan and her husband David Bateson and their son, Andrew of Etobicoke. Also remembered by Merideth Younger.

Mrs. Gleiser's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Fu- neral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, from 2-4 Sunday and Monday. At noon on Tuesday, transfer will be made to St. John's Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 2 p.m. (Tuesday), with Rev. Eric Weber officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Hope cemetery, Waterloo.

Donations to the Stained Glass Window Fund of St. John's Lutheran Chapel would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Obituary of Carol Gleiser

Passed away unexpectedly at her Waterloo residence on Monday December 24, 2012.

Daughter of the late Mabel (Miller) and Harold Gleiser.

Will be sadly missed by cousins Susan Bateson of Toronto, Ruth Schaefer of Waterloo, Brian Gleiser of Waterloo, Dick Gleiser of Owen Sound and Janet MacKinnon of Brantford. Many other cousins will miss her special care and compassion.

Carol was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Waterloo where she participated for many years with the Church Choir. Retired from Dominion Life (Manulife) after 33 years.

Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on

Friday, December 28, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church 22 Willow St., Waterloo. Rev. Barry Boeckner officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.

Following the burial a reception will be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
