DOTZERT, Mrs. Edwin (Alena) -Suddenly, on Tuesday, April 23, 1991, at her home, in North Easthope township. Mrs. Dotzert was born in Wilmot Township 87 years ago. She was a daughter of the late George Z. Lantz and the late Mary Schmitt. A faithful member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, North Easthope, a charter member of the LCW of St. James. Alena and Edwin were long-time vendors at the Stratford Market. Loving wife of 64 years of Edwin Dotzert; beloved mother of Donald and his wife Erma Dotzert of RR 1, New Hamburg, Nyal and his wife Marlene Dotzert of RR 1, Stratford; dear sister of Arnetta (Mrs. Allan Glasser) of Burlington; sister-in-law of Mrs. Dorothy Lantz of Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother, Armond Lantz. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St., Wellesley, where the family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Friday, April 28, removal will be made to St. James Lutheran Church for the funeral service at 3 p.m. Pastor Wilmer Mink will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
