BARTLEY, Maureen Mary - Passed away peacefully, on February, 1, 2008 in her 81st year. Loving mother of Kevin and his wife Jan Bartley of Cambridge and Joan and her husband Scott Glynn of Campbellville. Dear sister of John (Kathleen) Bond of Swords, Ireland, Tony (Betty) Bond of Ballyfermot, Ireland, Carmel (Paddy) Bartley, of Swindon, England. Grand-mother of Alden Glynn, Farran Glynn, Carli Ingham, Nick Glynn, Kaitlyn Bartley, Michael Bartley. Great-grandmother of Connor Lambke. Predeceased by her husband, James Francis Bartley (2001); her father, John Bond and her mother, Mary Egan, both of Ireland; her brothers, Paddy, Paul, and Tommy and sister, Margaret Bond. Mrs. Bartley was a resident of Cambridge and a member of St. Clement's RC Church for over 50 years. Maureen was a master seamstress and at Savage Shoe, she was a Fancy Stitcher for over 30 years. Family received friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd. Cambridge on Monday, February 4, 2008, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers were recited at the funeral home on Monday at 8: 30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 5, 2008, (today) at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke St. Cambridge, at 10 a.m. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
