BARTLEY, James Francis - It is with sorrow, that the family announces the passing of a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, James F. Bartley; born November 7, 1926, in Dublin, Ireland; passed away, on Monday, July 23, 2001 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Dearest and loved husband of Maureen (Bond) Bartley and cherished father of Kevin Bartley and his wife Janice of Cambridge and Joan Glynn and her husband Scott of Milton. Loving grandfather of Aiden, Farran and Nicholas Glynn, Carli Ingham, Kaitlyn and Michael Bartley. He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Joseph of Dublin, Ireland, Patrick of England and his sisters. Tessie Mullin, Frances Lumsden, both of Dublin, Ireland, Patricia Kelly and her husband Jack and their children of Cambridge and Kathleen O'Connor of England and brothers-in-law, John Bond and family, Paddy Bond and family, Tony Bond and family, all of Dublin, Ireland and Carmel Bartley and family of England. Predeceased by his three sisters, Phyllis, Carmel and Lily. Mr. Bartley came to Canada in 1957 and has resided in Cambridge for the past 44 years. He was employed at Dressers Industries until his retirement and was a member of St. Clements RC Church. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Clements RC Church, 745 Duke St., Cambridge on Thursday, July 26, 2001 at 10 am. Cremation to follow. Inurnment in Park Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8: 30.
